HOW TO GET HERE
The farmhouse is 1,8 km away from the centre of San Marcello Pistoiese. The last 1,4 kilometer of road, part dirt and part asphalted, is a country road in good condition and it is possible to drive up to it with any kind of car.
A car is recommended, although it is possible to reach Pistoia, Florence and Lucca from the bus station in the centre of town. A bus service also connects San Marcello to Pracchia which, 10km away, is the nearest train station and serves all destinations.
There are several restaurants in San Marcello Pistoiese, 3 banks with ATMs, pubs and bars, supermarkets, internet access, and everything you might need for your holiday. For hugely rewarding, though fairly strenuous walks, we recommend a number of routes in the mountains. We are often at the Farmhouse to check that everything is all right and we are always available for any possible inconvenience since we live 10 minutes drive away.
